Sinus (Bays), Palus (Marshes) and Lacus (Lakes) - also exist on moon's surface. Sinus Iridum (Bay of Rainbows), Palus Somnii (Marsh of Sleep), Lacus Bonitatis (Lake of Goodness) to name a few. |

Light Ray Systems - are caused by Moon's reflection of Sunlight. Light rays in craters form with Waxing moon, become bright at full moon, and gradually weaken towards new moon. Copernicus, Tycho, Kepler, Aristarchus, Proculus are some of the light rays systems. | ![]() |
